Meal Delivery Program

SAN offers the only meal program designed specifically for individuals living with HIV/AIDS in the Inland Northwest. This program is open to any case managed person living with HIV/AIDS in the greater Spokane area.

Our meal service began in 1991 and has grown to serve an average of 85 people weekly with grocery bags containing 5-7 meals. This meal program is meant to be supplementary to improve the overall nutrition of those living with HIV.

To Qualify for the Program

You need to meet the following criteria to qualify for the program:

      • Verification of HIV status or case management service at
Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) or the Community
Health Association Spokane (CHAS) if not on SAN’s caseload.

      • Must fall below 125% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).

If you do not meet the FPL criteria stated above you may be eligible for emergency food and you can contact your HIV case manager to set this up.

NOTE:  Eligibility for home delivery can be determined by your HIV case manager upon application to the program.
