Spokane AIDS Network reaches 1,000-3,000 individuals each year throughout the Inland Northwest with its education and prevention programs:

Inland Northwest Men’s Experience (INMX) is a fraternity-like group for all gay and bi guys 18-29 in the Spokane area.  INMX provides weekly activities such as dinners, game & movie nights, hikes, retreats, and more as well as providing monthly educational discussions and a book club.  The group provides an excellent drama and stress free opportunity to meet and socialize with other cool guys.  INMX is located at 928 W. MPOWERMENT: A community-level HIV program that utilizes a core group of young men, who build social events, promote sexual safety and increase awareness of HIV and AIDS. Providing a mechanism for designing and running intervention activities fosters a sense of ownership and a sense of personal commitment to HIV prevention. More

HIV Positive Support Groups: Convening support groups for those living with HIV and AIDS with trained facilitators to guide participants in creating healthier outlooks and providing up-to-date information on HIV prevention.

Prevention Case Management: Implementing a client-centered preventional activity, which assists HIV positive and negative persons in adopting risk-reduction behaviors through intensive one-on-one prevention counseling and support.

Community Events: SAN participates in community events and conducts outreach activities to promote the direct serice programs and provides HIV/AIDS information. SAN is present at community events such as Martin Lutheran King, Jr., celebrations, health fairs and college programs, Spokane GLBT PRIDE and other GLGT social events, and is a key organizer of local World AIDS Day events.
